Out of the Park Baseball 16 Epic League

For this project, I have started a historical league in Out of the Park Baseball 16 and will play as the GM of the St. Louis Cardinals organization from the beginning of Major League Baseball in 1871 to 2071 for an epic 200 seasons of Out of the Park Baseball.

I will be documenting this project on my Baseball Realms blog.

I will update the blog as I cross songs off the list.

Sports Car – Own One

I have always admired the looks and performance of classic sports cars.  I have a fondness for the Mustang, Corvette and Camaro, but there are plenty of other worthies out there.

I will update the blog when I’m ready to start car shopping.

Tiny House – Own One

I like the idea of living simply, so the “tiny house” movement appeals to me.

The idea is to move away from the over-sized “McMansions” that cropped up everywhere during the housing bubble to houses smaller than 1,000 square feet.

Tiny houses range from a normal looking small house or cottage suitable for one or two people to truly tiny dwellings, some of which are mobile.

There are plans on the Internet for DYI types and also companies that sell pre-made tiny houses, like Tumbleweed.

I will update the blog when I’m ready to start researching homes.

Rubik’s Cube – Solve One

I had several Rubik’s cubes as a kid, but always ended up eventually taking the thing apart and putting it back together instead of legitimately solving it.

For this bucket list item, I want to properly solve a Rubik’s cube.

First, I’ll need to buy one.  They go for about $11 at Amazon.

I’ll update the blog when I’m ready to tackle the cube.

TV Blog

I enjoy talking about my favorite television shows, so a TV blog seems like a fun project.

Like with the Cardinals blog, this list item primarily requires a time investment.  I will tentatively aim to get started in the summer or fall TV season of 2015.

Cardinals Blog

I enjoy both the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and writing about stuff, so blogging about the Cardinals seems like a natural extension of that.

Getting the blog started is mostly a function of time.  I am going to tentatively aim to start either during the 2014/2015 “hot stove” season or the 2015 baseball season.

I will update the blog when I am ready to get started.
